25th Anniversary!/ Birthday!

Today is my Aunt & Uncles 25th Anniversary! Congratulations and blessings for many more to come!

It's also Harry Potter's birthday! Whoohoo! Have to re-read the whole set to celebrate and watch all the movies again. Harry Potter marathon!

Ran all over yesterday doing paperwork to get the truck. Got the truck and then had to do more paperwork for insurance and such. I still haven't got to drive it yet. Did go out to lunch and I kept smelling my best friend Andrea at the restaurant...the waitress had on (a lot, bathed in it) the perfume she always wore...of course this really got to me bad. I'd like to really have a good cry but...It's just not fair she had to die, so hard to deal with. Had to rush off to the swim team board meeting...should of stayed home except I'm the secretary. What a fiasco that was! As soon as I walked into the pool building it was one thing after another...poop! Yes, taming the tongue! Don't even want to think of it...probably will wait a couple of days before I type the minutes up because I just don't want to deal with it.

Today is supposed to be private swim training and swim team practice but I'm so exhausted I don't want to do any of it. Plus my tooth is throbbing so bad I think it needs a root canal. Don't want to go back to the dentist I had because he hurts to much so would have to find a new one and transfer files...pain in the butt! Yeah, I know pain in the tooth! Did knit a few rows this morning and am now going to go water my plants. Tootles!

Finished!

I finished the Harry Potter book yesterday! Oh my gosh, I think it was the best one yet. My favorite part was the end....so dying to talk to someone who has read it but don't want to ruin it for those who haven't...like my hubby. I did have to tell him it was a happy ending....I had to say something:) He's still on book five! How can I keep quiet? When they make it into a movie its going to be sooooo awesome!

Yeah, we pick the truck up today! I can't wait to drive it. Want to practice in the rural areas and not in town until I'm used to the size. I feel sorry for the curbs we will meet...jk! Its 45 minutes away so hubby and I are going to go out to lunch too...there's a yarn store not to far away...hmmmm. Got to get back to insure it and stuff. Plus Jimmy has swimming and I have a board meeting. I was going to join the masters swim team but my throat is still burning a little and stuffy nose, I should probably wait. (Still dreading the swim suit in front of stranger thing):)

So busy yesterday. I vacuumed the house...did laundry, ironed for an hour and a half...cleaned all three bathrooms...it sure seemed a lot more when I was doing all that and it barely took up a line! Oh, I also vacuumed the pool and then did laps for 40 minutes. I knew there was something else that took a long time! Gonna go knit for 15 minutes before I have to get busy!

Race Day!

Nascar race day! Go Gordon! Go Newman! Go Jr.! Whoohooo!

Going to do my ironing while I watch the race and swim team secretarial duties! Maybe even sneak a little knittin' time in too. Here I've been working on the same sock for over two weeks and Jen in Fl. has cranked out a wagonful! I've also been working on my mosaic Pooh puzzle which is sooo addicting...I keep telling myself I'll do this or that after I find one more piece! Hmmm. I'm also done with the Harry Potter book but yet I don't know if I want to find out the ending....I don't want it to end...whahhh! Yes, that's a whine!

New Truck!

Whoohoo, we just bought a new 4x4 truck! Really clean, nice and in excellent condition. Sits really high so I'll be able to see a lot. Can't wait to drive it around!

Swim Meet!

Oh my gosh, I'm sooooo tired! Our swim team did soooo awesome today! The swimmers did excellent and the parents were such a big help! It was very disorganized, chaotic, and hectic but we pulled it off and everyone enjoyed it. Go Team!

Going to get off my feet and take a siesta in the nice air conditioned room! Thank God for my crocs, my feet would be killing me if I hadn't of worn them today. Might be going to look at a new truck later, we'll see. Tootleloo and nighty night!

Oh Yeah, It's Friday!

First off its my swim buddies birthday today...Happy Birthday Cindy! She was just made a grandma on Sunday night, a beautiful baby boy! Something extra to celebrate today!

My friend Darcy will hopefully be getting out of the hospital tomorrow too. Coach Falicia is healing nicely from her surgery performed on Tuesday. Lots of good news!

I'm feeling better today. I guess rest does work! I worked on my mosaic Pooh puzzle a lot, read a little Harry (no not done yet), and took a nap. Still a little congested but didn't wake up with my throat on fire! Have to be better by tomorrow because of the swim meet I need to run.

Found out yesterday that I'm a Wiener, oops I mean Winner! On my friend, Jen's, site I was the 500th comment. Not surprising by how much I talk! ha ha How she knows this I have no idea? Pretty cool though! She can whip out socks like nobodies business! She's posting a new one every couple of days its amazing! There not just plain socks either, they're beautiful works of art! So cool. I've been weeks on one! I now proclaim her the "Sock Queen!"

Since I didn't do much yesterday my laundry is overflowing, ironing board is yelling at me so gotta get busy.

Sick!

Hi All! Boy do I feel like poop! I was fine yesterday and then this morning I woke with a burning, sore throat and am now getting congested! Where did this come from? I have to run a swim meet on Saturday, I can't get sick. Going to take it easy today...rest...work on my Pooh puzzle...read Harry Potter, and maybe knit a bit! Although I need to be changing beds and ironing! Nah! Gonna go drink my tea and.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
