Today is National Sugar Cookie Day! So lets get to baking! I can smell them already....these will melt in your mouth...
1C margarine, softened 1/2 t. baking soda
1 C sugar 1 t. cider vinegar
1-1/2 C all-purpose flour 1t. vanilla extract
Blend together margarine and sugar. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes. Roll dough into one-inch balls; arrange at least 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool. Makes 2-3 dozen! Enjoy!

Are these those really creamy kind? Nice & soft when you bite into them? I LOVE those kind, but don't like the hard ones. I haven't had any of the soft ones in years, my friend and her Mom went nuts baking Christmas cookies every year and she made them soft and yummy.
I guess I may have to try this...unfortunately, if a recipe can be ruined, I'm the one to do it...:(
Yum! Good thing I didn't see this earlier!
