My Knitpicks order came the other day. I'm going to be doing the Hemlock Ring Blanket KAL with the Barknknit pack! This starts April 1! I've been looking and looking for a green to match my quilt on my bed and the color of my walls and finally found the perfect color at Knitpicks....Bok Choy! Of course the sock yarns jumped into the cart because they were clearanced, Spruce and Oak. I needed some more circs because I'm always using my other ones and need another set!:) My dpns had split down the center so they replaced them with no questions asked! Was kind of shocked that they'd split like that though... Almost finished with the Padfoot socks....need to make a mini sweater for the yarn store display too!

Oh how exciting! That's a big project! Can't wait to see it done! I'm forever ordering more needles from them too. My circ's seem to walk away or a knitting fairy takes them! ;O)
I have to admit I wasn't crazy about my wood dpn's. Mine splintered on top and snagged the yarn too much. I think I only used them once too! :( I should've sent them back!
Love the sock yarn! I've got a pair on the needles right now for my Mom in Cascade Fixation. She loves the feel of those. She goes in for her PET scan today, I'll keep you posted!

Wow...it looks perfect!! I can't wait to get started! I need to wind my yarn soon!
You crazy knitter you! Hemlock indeed... I had trouble with the simple lace!
I have two sets of interchangeables from KP one nickle and the other harmony, so far that has been enough for me;)
I love my harmony dpns, but I am hard on the wood...apparently I have a death grip, no breakage with the harmonies yet.
That is a really pretty green!
I was looking at your lap blanket collection...but I'm not getting enough knitting time to finish something like that. Anyways, I saw you mentioned on Chan's blog. I'm a homeschooling mom in so.cal too.
Sissy and I love our hemlock ring, gifted by a swap pal. Actually, I think Gretchen believes (in cooler months) that seeing the HR in my lap means snuggle time!
Enjoy. I still want to knit that pattern too.
One of these years, I'll get around to knitting that blanket. I love the color you chose!!
gorgeous yarns for what will be an awesome Hemlock, I'm sure!!
