The Los Angeles Fire Department put on wonderful demonstrations for the kids....
Arson Canine demonstration (pic above); Fire Station tours; dispatch center; different memorial areas (9/11 and an area memorializing every fire fighter that has lost his life in duty); where they train/test EMT's in cpr etc. with mechanical dummies that breath/have a pulse/talk, very computer techy! Pizza for lunch! They had a great day at work!:)

One great thing about your teaching Jimmy is that he gets to see what you do every day! Having ducklings and all the other wildlife must be great for school distractions, right?
