Inside the coop....its so funny cuz they are staying in the groups they were separated into..ex. all the cochins are together...all the red stars stick to together...lol they have their own cliques!
It's been so windy here that the first day they wouldn't come out of the coop! They would look out the windows, peek from the doorway; one would get brave and step on the ramp and then turn around and run back in. The first ones out were my blue eyed rooster and one of the guinee keets (either Tom or Jerry; couldn't tell). The first day I think Jimmy took out each one and showed them how to get out and then showed them how to get back up the ramp into the coop. He's been phenomenal with all the birds! His favorite are still the ducks but you'd never know it by how much time he spends with the chicks.

Oh I miss having roosters and chickens...
There's something a "real" school can't teach a kid in Science, right? Mark's babysitting for his sister's parakeets this summer. He'd probably enjoy chickens and ducks. And I'm not going to offer them!
that is cute that jimmy showed each one how to go in and out of the coop. :)
I love farm fresh eggs. Makes me wish we could have chickens here. : )
