Camp Loopy Project #1

Size 10 Knitpicks Interchangeable Circular needles.

Loopy Ewe is doing a Camp Loopy for the summer...three different projects will be done for this at different time intervals! I'm in Cabin 2!:)

I did the large size to use up as much yardage as I could....but boy oh boy did this seem to take forever!

Golden Grahams S'mores Bars

3/4 cup light corn syrup

3 tbsp. butter

1 package (2 cups) chocolate chips

3 cups mini marshmallows

1 tsp. vanilla

1 box of Golden Grahams cereal

1. Grease 13x9 pan and set aside.

2. Over medium heat, heat syrup, butter, and chocolate chips, stirring constantly until chips are melted. Remove and stir in vanilla.

3. Place cereal in large bowl and pour chocolate mixture over cereal and mix until completely coated. Fold in marshmallows 1 cup at a time.

4. Press into pan and let sit 1 hour (refrigerate if desired).

WIP'S...Works In Progress

Working on some preemie hats for a couple different KAL's...one is for Sweet Caroline and will be going to Michigan and another is for Remy in New York (info of these on the Wolfe Farms Ravelry group). These are getting my knitting mojo/blog mojo back....the daybreak has really wore me down.

Preemie hats are done in Sunshine Yarns Classic: yellow above is Gourd and the other is New Moon Alice. They are so fun to do...will be doing quite a few of these. They are done on size 2 circs...

The never-ending Daybreak shawl...its almost done but each row takes about 4o minutes to get through...soooooo boring; at least the yarn is awesome. I have at least 8 more rows to go but have thrown it in a bag for a bit while I make some preemie hats!

February Lady Sweater is still marinating in a bag too...

Yesterday was a cookin' day for me....made chocolate chip muffins for Jimmy; apple bread; applesauce; lemon chicken soup and homemade french bread. My french bread turned out sooo pretty and was soooo yummy! pic above!

Had my gum surgery yesterday so Fuji and I are going to snuggle up and rest.
