Okay...here are my 7 things:

1. I have tons of allergies!

2. I love mayonnaise with my fries (even though I'm not supposed to have either one, although I do have baked fries at home with fat free mayo)

3. I don't go anywhere without makeup and hair done.

4. I have lots of interests...reading, knitting, spinning, crocheting, sewing, quilting, soap making, baking, working out....

5. I keep telling people I'm 23, lol.

6. My degree is in psychology and am told I talk to everyone, everywhere!

7. Love going to Build-a-Bear and sleep with nightlights on!

My sourdough bricks...A friend last week gave me a sourdough starter and recipe/directions. Well it usually helps to read all directions first....I proceeded to make it, perfect overcast day to bake....I added too much starter to the flour, thought "oh crap" so doubled all the other ingredients....kneaded it for 20 minutes (well the kitchenaid kneaded) then let it set for 30 minutes...in the mean time I'm calling my aunt and mom to see if they have extra bread pans because I only have two, mom came to the rescue and brought me all they had. Then I notice the recipe says it has to sit for 15 hours...WHAT? Couldn't even bake it till this morning...and I got these sorry looking lumps of yuck. If I threw it against the wall it'd break the wall!:( This is the second time I've tried to make sourdough and with a complete different starter/recipe. I don't think I'm destined to be a bread baker!

7 interesting things about me:

1. I still live where I was born and raised.

2. DH and I built the home we live in. Love being home...I'm a homebody!:) or hermit!:)

3. I talk in my sleep and sometimes walk in my sleep (usually to get something sweet to eat).

4. Love to work out...all different kinds. Even have a purple belt in karate!

5. Have so many food restrictions because of allergies and IBS.

6. Love cloudy/rainy cold days....you can always add a sweater or blanket; unlike when its hot you can only take off so many clothes to stay cool!

7. Most people don't know of my degree in psychology....no wonder I like to talk!:) Love hearing people's stories of their lives!

I'm a Ravthlete!!

My first Ravelympic project finished! This scarf has been marinating in my purse forever! Such a fun pattern (drop stitch scarf), wonderful yarn (koigu)....just had started so many projects that this got put on the back burner! This has made me want to dig out all my UFO's and get them finished! Once I finish my Charity Curling/Giant Slalomaghan event going to enter my Multnomah shawl in the WIP dancing and Short Track Shawls!

This is the medal I got for my scarf in the Scarf Super-G event!!:)

It was also entered in the WIPs Dancing event and received this medal also! Whoo hoo!!

Today is another nice, rainy day as was yesterday. I made some yummy oatmeal butterscotch cookies after we finished school. They are soooo good and going to give me so much more padding on my booty! Did get a couple of chemo hats done this week. Going to work on some mitered squares for a group project on Ravelry. Still working on the shrug, socks, and blanket too! I really need to get to working on more socks too! Have a great weekend!
