Fuji can't believe how close that lil guy can get to her mama!

Randy's favorite thing besides eating is being close to mama! Such a snuggle bunny!

He's doing much better today finding his potty! Yeah Randy!! He tried Romaine lettuce...didn't really care for it but finally ate it. Loves grapes...gave him a cheerio when he pottied in his box and he got soooo excited and snorted real loud! I laid next to him and he snuggled up to my chin, kind of nibble kissed it and scooted back down to snuggle...so sweet! Also if you rub his side he'll flop over and roll onto his back so you can rub his belly...he really loves this! When he's really happy the hair on his back sticks up too! I'm learning so much! Also learned something about his boy anatomy but I won't go into that here...was quite shocked though! lol

Welcome Randy!!

Today we went to Brea, CA to pick up our Vietnamese Potbelly pig, Randy. We named him from the movie The Christmas Story where the mom in the movie asks the little boy (Randy) "how do little piggies eat?" He was such a good boy on the two hour drive...snuggled in the crook of my arm!

Fuji was instantly enamored with him...tail wagging and excited to see what he was...never bristled or barked....she got excited wanting him to play but he's a little wary of his surroundings. He doesn't like me out of his sight...when I went to the kitchen he came running down the hallway to find me, boy can he run! We then went and had a snuggle time in his room!

When we got home he was really hungry so James gave him some chow!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit the new arrival!

Auntie Peggy also came to see her new nephew!

Put a few pieces of food in his kong toy and he's having a blast as I whip out this blog post! He already has me wrapped around his little hooves! Think James will notice the extra fur baby in bed, lol!:)

Nichole, Stu, Nick, and Aaron also came to see the new arrival! :)

In the meantime....Ms. Q-Tip is keeping the other cats away from the tree because she has found their presents. All day yesterday I kept hearing bells jingle and it was her playing with the kitty presents! So funny because she is 16 years old and acts like a kitten!

Every night Fuji sits next to James and tries to sneak in kisses and snuggles...attacking him! He has been teaching her to say "I love you"....the other night I so wish I'd recorded it because it was clear as day like a person saying it! Such a smart puppy!

Monday, Fuji jumped off the bed and didn't land right and hurt her leg...she hobbled into the bathroom and hid behind the toilet. Grabbed her and checked her over, no whining or whimpering. Let her rest for a bit and got a piece of cheese out and immediately she perked up and came and took a bite. She is still afraid to jump up or down, so she's being babied. She's not limping or anything so think she is just milking the attention!

Took the cushions off the living room couch so she has a ramp to get on and off the bed, until Daddy can make her a special one....

Yesterday morning, she'd stayed in bed after I'd gotten up. About half an hour later I hear this howling and crying and went running......she was sitting on the edge of the bed wanting to be lifted down, think she forgot about the cushions...I set her down and she went running to the back door to go potty. Funny little girl!

Yesterday she went and sat in the pantry and whined....went to see what she wanted and she moved into the pantry and looked onto the shelf that has her bones....asked her if she wanted a bone and she waved her hand up and down! Toooo smart for her own good! Of course she got a bone, how could she not when she asked so politely!:)

Getting loving from Daddy makes boo boo's feel better!

She's now jumping on and off the couch and has almost forgotten her traumatic experience!:) She also is feeling good enough to play "froggy" too, even on the day she hurt herself!

Our niece, Mary, came to visit us last night. Had a wonderful time chatting with her and visiting. Look forward to many more visits!:)

Knit Twit meet was also today. Vickie, Jackie, Luanne, Nicole, and Nick came over. Nicole was working on hats; Vickie was working on a scarf; Luanne was working on a sweater, Jackie was working on socks and a baby blanket; I was knitting on a WWII hat; Nick and Jimmy were gaming! We had such a good time. We laughed so hard that are sides were hurting! Poor Fuji was recorded "playing" with her froggy...whole new meaning for "frogging!" Nicole even posted it to twitter! I'd made them banana chocolate chip muffins for a snack too!

"Every Sunday when Daddy gets to sleep in, I wait for Mommy to get busy, either taking out the trash, starting laundry...and I sneak into the bedroom, jump up on the bed, whine, cry, and lick Daddy awake!.....sometimes she catches me before I make it to the bedroom, but then I just wait and stealthily sneak in there!"
