Wren Shawl

Finished the Wren Shawl for the Yarning's KAL! Awesome pattern...was really scared towards the end of running out of yarn...was weighing it every couple of rows! At least it decreases as you're getting near the end!

Randy peeking out of his house...staring at the back door waiting for me to let him in!:) Can barely see him except the tip of his wee pink nose! Him and Fuji got to take a trip to the vet yesterday to get their vaccinations...guess who screamed the loudest...yes, Sir Randy, poor baby. Both were tuckered out by the time we got home. Hope you all had a great Valentines...I was extremely lucky and had my Valentine home all day with me!:)

Outside fun...

Randy gets so excited to go outside, you should hear the snort, snort, snort as he runs to the door! He knows that there are a few treats out there for him to root around and find. He also loves to push his toys around with his nose all over and if one of them squeaks he runs in a circle!:) He's so funny and entertaining! Last night he was being a booger because I was gone for a few hours with more dental work....he ran into Jimmy's room and found a bag of toys, no longer took that from him and gave him a replacement toy that he ran back in there to find something else he could get into! Then he decided to bug Trouble until Trouble slapped him..so then he thought he'd try chewing on my shoe....time out time in his room. Later when let him back out he was his snuggly, lovey self!

Love finding a good TV series on Netflix...right now I'm addicted to Veronica Mars; just love this show! Missed Cake Boss last night, boo hoo cuz went to bed early. Have a great day!

Started the February Lady Sweater yesterday for the KAL with the Knitwits podcast...almost finished with the Mr. Greenjeans sweater....want to cast on the Wren shawl for @kdlb's KAL.

Had my rings sized so I can wear them again...2.5 sizes down!! Love when they get all shined up by the jeweler; can never get them that shiny by cleaning them at home. Think I'm getting James' crud he had last week so gonna go sit and knit a bit!:)

Day 8 & 9 with Randy!

Been a real hot weekend so have spent a lot of time in the sunshine...

Anything and everything goes in the mouth....

Going to order him a harness from Ross Mill Farms...they're designed for pot belly pigs in an A design. The A design gives them more freedom and movement...will take a few weeks to get him used to it. Tried putting one of Fuji's harnesses on him and oh my word the SCREAM...the pbp scream has been measured louder than a Concord jet....believe me, that's true! My book I ordered from Amazon about potbelly pigs came and I'm learning so much! They weren't brought to the US until 1985, so they haven't even been here that long. Very interesting read it's called Potbellied Pig Behavior and Training: A Complete Guide for Solving Behavioral Problems in Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs by Priscilla Valentine.

Day 6 & 7 with Randy!

Morning snuggles...although he thinks anytime is a good time for snuggles!

Loves playing with Fuji's pink pig....so funny cuz he pushes it all over the room and tries tossing it with his snout!

Randy thinks this is the way to homeschool Jimmy...Mommy on the floor so he can snuggle! Kind of difficult when I need to write on the board! lol....look at that wee little tail! He loves to play chase, he'll chase you around and around the couch (as long as he can see you!) My friend, Andrea, on facebook made me a video today of her four pot bellies! So awesome to see her piggies....found out they can jump and climb from her video! Shhhh we won't let Randy know that, lol!

As I write this he's ripping around the couch snorting away! LOL

Loves to lay in the sun! Still a bit sleepy today! He loves me to kiss the top of his head while really making the exaggerated kiss sound and then he makes the same smack sound...its so funny! Another odd thing I've noticed is when they are nervous they grind their teeth...gives ya goose bumps to hear it. As soon as I tell him "your ok" he stops.

Finally finished the test knit I was doing for Leftsideknits...It's called the Chosen Path Shawl...fabulous pattern and a fun knit. I did this in a dk yarn my niece, Lila, bought for me in Taos, NM...just gorgeous!

It's blocking right now...as you can see it's HUGE! It's longer than my love seat that shows a bit in the pic! Going to be very snuggly and warm! Hope it will get cold enough again so I can use it...Nichole blow some of that cold snow globe weather your having to CA!:)
