Lately she's been a lot more snuggly to me again...lol, I wonder why? ;)

She's such a good girl and helps me take care of Randy!

Haven't posted pics of Randy this week cuz of extensive dental procedures...will get back to it soon!

Day 8 & 9 with Randy!

Been a real hot weekend so have spent a lot of time in the sunshine...

Anything and everything goes in the mouth....

Never strays to far from me....

Fuji getting some sniffing in...

Going to order him a harness from Ross Mill Farms...they're designed for pot belly pigs in an A design. The A design gives them more freedom and movement...will take a few weeks to get him used to it. Tried putting one of Fuji's harnesses on him and oh my word the SCREAM...the pbp scream has been measured louder than a Concord jet....believe me, that's true! My book I ordered from Amazon about potbelly pigs came and I'm learning so much! They weren't brought to the US until 1985, so they haven't even been here that long. Very interesting read it's called Potbellied Pig Behavior and Training: A Complete Guide for Solving Behavioral Problems in Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs by Priscilla Valentine.

Day 6 & 7 with Randy!

Morning snuggles...although he thinks anytime is a good time for snuggles!

Loves playing with Fuji's pink pig....so funny cuz he pushes it all over the room and tries tossing it with his snout!

Randy thinks this is the way to homeschool Jimmy...Mommy on the floor so he can snuggle! Kind of difficult when I need to write on the board! lol....look at that wee little tail! He loves to play chase, he'll chase you around and around the couch (as long as he can see you!) My friend, Andrea, on facebook made me a video today of her four pot bellies! So awesome to see her piggies....found out they can jump and climb from her video! Shhhh we won't let Randy know that, lol!

Fuji's new toy....it even makes a quack sound (to me it sounds more like a fart!)

She'd much rather play with her new brother, Randy. She's a good babysitter....she peeks through his gate all the time and if he's up she comes and gets me and runs back to the gate crying! They are so funny together. Yesterday she just sat and watched him run around the couch...kinda had this look on her face like "what are you doing psycho piggy!"

Got my Knitpicks order in too....the Sunshine yellow is for a February Lady Sweater...the other two are sock yarns that just happened to jump into the cart so I could get the free shipping, LOL! Remember sock yarn doesn't count as stash!:)

Dragged my Mr. Greenjeans sweater out of hibernation and am hoping to finish it before starting this other sweater...think I started it two years ago! Want this to be the year of sweaters! We'll see how well that goes cuz you know how I love my shawls!

As I write this he's ripping around the couch snorting away! LOL

Loves to lay in the sun! Still a bit sleepy today! He loves me to kiss the top of his head while really making the exaggerated kiss sound and then he makes the same smack sound...its so funny! Another odd thing I've noticed is when they are nervous they grind their teeth...gives ya goose bumps to hear it. As soon as I tell him "your ok" he stops.

Finally finished the test knit I was doing for Leftsideknits...It's called the Chosen Path Shawl...fabulous pattern and a fun knit. I did this in a dk yarn my niece, Lila, bought for me in Taos, NM...just gorgeous!

It's blocking right now...as you can see it's HUGE! It's longer than my love seat that shows a bit in the pic! Going to be very snuggly and warm! Hope it will get cold enough again so I can use it...Nichole blow some of that cold snow globe weather your having to CA!:)

Day 4 with Randy!

Today Randy had to be at the vet bright and early to be neutered and vaccinated. He weighed 5.5 lbs. and had the whole office staff in love with him. He woke up a little groggy so they kept him a bit longer...when he got home he ate and went right under his covers to bed. He's come out to give me a kiss but went right back to bed. Poor little guy is tuckered out. Went to the feed store and got him a youth formula feed...also went to Petsmart and got him some toys! Lots of love and snuggles in store for the little guy!

They played ring around my legs for a bit and then this afternoon he chased Fuji and then she'd turn around and chase him around the couch...sooo funny. She's now on top of the couch just watching him, lol!

Praying his surgery tomorrow goes fine!....he gets neutered.

Randy says, "This is the life!"

Outside time...hard to see him by the butterfly bush and the iphone doesn't take the greatest pics...even did a poopy outside...yeah Randy!

Lovin' the belly rubs!

His new trial food today was banana...he said yum yum yum and smacked his lips!

We tried to get a bath today and I quickly learned what the phrase "like a stuck pig" means...he screamed SOOOO LOUD and for a long time...didn't even get him near the water.....so then I tried walking him into our walk in shower and he ran away squealing....sooo put some coconut oil on him and rubbed it in to help with his dry skin. We'll try the bath again in a week with lots of treats!
