R,S, T...

R is for roving that is now spun into a single! Fabulous FreckleFaceFibers in the colorway Cherry Season.....this will eventually be turned into an Ishbel shawl! Need to get it off the bobbin, soaked, whacked and dried! Fun stuff...what to spin next?

S is for skirt that I just finished sewing! I love this pattern and they are so comfortable, love, love, love them! Many more to come! I'm also loving my machine and wish I had more time to do it. My buddy, Luanne's coming over Wednesday and going to teach me how to make pj pants! We always have such a great time together!

T is for tomatoes that came from my Dad's garden. Just had a turkey sandwich and added some tomato to it....yummmmmmeeeee! If you've never tried a fresh garden tomato, find one, the taste is totally different than what you'll ever find in the store. I really don't like tomatoes but these are fabulous. It was so good I grabbed the rest of it and ate it like an apple! Thinking on cutting some up for a salad cuz I'm just craving it now!:)
Had a great swim at the Y today and now need to knit on another Alana knit!:)

Single like a red, ripe tomato. Love it! The skirt is nice! And even tho I don't like tomatoes, I grow them just to have the reaction from people, you hit the nail on the head, nothing at all compares to fresh home grown tomatoes.

We have locally grown Grainger tomato's here but this hasn't been the best season for them. They're usually good enough to eat all by themselves too. The southerner's here make tomato sandwich's all the time!

Were you spinning while that pic was taken? LOL! My eyes were having a hard time focusing! Speed Spinner you! :O) Too many pretty fibers, not enough time.... I hear ya!

Thanks bunches for my BD box too! I LOVED EVERYTHING!!!! You're the best!! ♥
