Crocheting...

What is knitting? What is spinning? Haven't done either in awhile! I've been busy crocheting washcloths, cup cozy's and hats....thought I'd grab a few to show you, the rest are in the box to go to the craft fair Dec. 5th! I've also been making lots of soap boxes! It reminds me of the song for the show Weeds...."little boxes...":) I do have Mr. Greenjeans on the needles, and the drop stitch scarf forever marinating in my purse, I stare at the lovely multnomah shawl on the circ's...then there is the lovely fiberphile pacifica on the wheel...I need a day to play!:) What are you knitting/croing/spinning?

Wee Tiny Sock Club!

As a member of the Winter 2009-2010 Wee Tiny Sock Club, you will receive a package in the mail each month this winter, December, January and February.
Each package will be based around a different winter theme, and will contain:
An original creative wee tiny sock pattern
A taste of yummy hand-dyed sock yarn, plenty to knit the wee tiny sock
All notions needed to complete the pattern - for example, beads and beading needle would be provided if needed, so you don't have to run out for extra supplies. Stitch markers that coordinate with the theme surprise goodies!
Signed up for this today...can't wait, it sounds like so much fun and the wee socks are soooo cute!
The AVC craft fair went great yesterday and got to chat and hang out with a bunch of Ravelers! Loved the looks on peoples faces as Brian was spinning on a drop spindle! Even got to meet a raveler I've only spoken to on the computer! Very cool! Now its time to restock again and get ready for the next show on December 5!

Scrumptious Fiber!

This Woolgirl kit was inspired by Robert Frosts poem, "Birches."
The kit includes:
1 skein of Pigeon Roof Studios fingering weight sock yarn in the Winter Birches colorway.
Birches sock pattern designed by Laura Patterson. Winter Birches mitt pattern designed by Lisa Dykstra (love her patterns).
A birch themed sock knitting bag designed by Faye of The Silver Pumpkin.
1 set of birch dpn knitting needles from brittanyneedles.com.
Set of birch themed greeting cards designed and painted by Jean Kreiter. These are so pretty!
A stitch marker designed by Debbie and Jenny from Crimson Orchid Designs.
A mini crochet hook stitch saver designed by Ruth. Beads to add to you socks and a birch themed gift tag.
I love the mitt pattern and can't wait to cast them on...need to finish up some of my projects first!
I ordered some fiberphiles yarn and haven't posted it yet. The update was on the nineteenth of October. OMG what a crazy production that was! Had to keep f5 the whole time because as soon as she put up a skein you refreshed and it was gone. Tried putting the pumpkin spice one into my cart and whammo it was plucked right out from someone else. Jimmy came over to help me and we finally scored the blackberry expresso. I had just had my heart set on the pumpkin spice...even had a pattern bought for it....Nathan (straphanging) had scored it so said I could buy it from him! So sweet of him! The pattern I ordered for this yarn is a shawl and I'm so glad I haven't cast on yet because I keep getting pattern errata sent to me! It's a thirteen page pattern too and I've already reprinted it three times! It's the Antonia shawlette. Such yummy yarn...the pumpkin spice has cashmere in it...mmmm!:)

Halloween morning....love that bed head Jimmy!:)
He had a cool breakfast too....jack-o-lantern donut and chocolate donut! mmmm
Fuji was really excited to see what was in the present!
Was there something for her too?

Fuji said, "ah, man nothing in there for me!"
Jimmy got an awesome timber wolf signature webkinz...he named it Canis!

Fuji still trying to find something for her...

Yeah, Fuji got a pumpkin plush! She ran around and around the couch and got all spazzy! Was toooo funny!
Had a great day...ordered pizza, wings, quepoppas, and cinnamon sticks for dinner.
Jimmy chose to just chill out instead of trick-or-treating this year.
