Smiles await you when you rise.
Sleep,pretty Fuji,
Do not cry,
And I'll sing you a lullaby.
Therefore sleep,
While I o'er you watch do keep.
Sleep,pretty darling,
Do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby.

Yoga socks are finished!
Now when my hubby gets home from somewhere he's been...everyone knows because Fuji howls like a coyote for him and whines really, really loud. She tilts her head back and literally howls up into the air...so funny! I'll have to record that one day!
Karoake soy silk/wool.
James and Jimmy have today off because of Martin Luther King Day. Caught them playing a little basketball and of course Gypsy had to sneak in and get a little loving!
In the mail I found this wonderful package from Chan yesterday! Six yoga dvd's, yoga bible, some yummy choc/mint yarn....Love, love, love it Chan....thank you sooooo much. I did do 40 minutes of it, was quite proud of myself until later when I started "feeling the yoga" so got a nice, hot bath to relax the muscles. Boy you should see some of the positions these people get into in this book...they must not have any bones in their bodies! I did go to Target today and got a yoga mat (pink with hot pink lace hearts) so I don't slip on the carpet and can get a good grip!
Made this the night before while waiting for Jimmy at swimming. It's crocheted and called a mesh cloth. I just love the color. Its Bernat Handicrafter cotton, which I tried to get more at JoAnn's but they don't have anymore...weird!
Easy Crochet Dishcloth...crocheted this yesterday while Jimmy was taking his math and history test. Needs to be a smidgen bigger though....next time!
Friday, Jimmy and I went around running errands and doing some shopping. We went to the mall so he could get a couple new Webkinz with his Christmas money...an emperor dragon, lime dinosaur, and a sea otter...all very cute. We walked the mall and window shopped and joked around for awhile....then we went to JoAnn's. I was going in to get some cotton and buttons and some other yarn jumped into the cart too. I bought the greens to crochet a throw for the couch. I already have one for the couch but Fuji has designated it as hers. She buries herself under it...you got to be careful because you would just think its an afghan thrown on the couch but she's under it! She has no hair on her underside and the top is very thin so she likes to stay warm cuz she's a naked puppy! Yes, I'm a good momma too and have made her sweaters (she has a whole drawer full) but she hates them and thinks she's in trouble when she has one on....unless its to wear when we go to Petsmart, then she struts with her chin held high!:) So funny!
Received this lovely package from Seasidepurl today. Two beautiful, hand knit cloths; some tea and a beautiful star ornament! So thoughtful and sweet of her to think of me. Thank you so much Teresita! She has a wonderful group on Ravelry called Hearts of Love, this is the group that I send my chemo hats too. Check it out when you're on Rav!
Jimmy and I got some new crocs in the mail too, they were on sale for $14.99! Wow! I got the bright red ones and he chose the blue. Such a great price....I love Crocs! Wish they'd make a clear pair! I've thought of getting the clear Converse but don't want sweaty feet...
My new Namaste Laguna bag came today too. Love it! It's so soft, a lot softer than my other Namaste bag! These are my favorite bags! Also ordered a Zuma one the other day too!:) Woolgirl has them on sale right now so if you're wanting one that's the place to go, plus she has lots of yarn on sale too!
If you're from the South you will recognize this yearly endeavor. It is supposed to bring you good luck and prosperity for the year to eat black eyed peas on New Years day. This is from a time when the South was mostly unsettled, and black eyed peas were fed to the cattle. The settlers had to eat the black eyed peas fed to the cattle to survive the harsh winter until supplies could come, and it was the black eyed peas that were meant for the cattle that kept them alive.
