Jimmy in La Jolla Cove....headed home yesterday!

Jimmy took this beautiful picture of a butterfly landing in a field of lavender. Can you smell it?

Some goodies...soap book, soap, soap making kit from Summers Past Farms...and some yarn from the Grove.
The lace weight yarn is Euroflax Paris in sage.

Casted on for this ponchette on Thursday driving to La Jolla and this is how much I'd gotten done by yesterday on the way back. I'm to the decreasing part but was too tired to finish it!

Wow! We're going to have to start calling you Mrs. Crafty! I would love to try making soap too but the scents would make me keel over! LOL!! I know you'll have fun tho! :) I've seen people doing it on craft shows and it seems really relaxing and fun!

I'm off to mix up my head again on what to knit....

You make me wish I was there.

Soapmaker's Companion is a great book for soaping. Once you get the hang of what the process looks like, you'll be off and running. Can't wait to see your first batch!
