Breast Cancer Awareness!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness!
There are many wonderful organizations...National Breast Cancer Awareness has tons of info. This month is to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer after lung cancer in both women and men. Show your support this month! There’s a song by Tim McGraw that really hits home, called, “Live Like You Were Dying”–it talks about how to look for a more positive attitude in the face of a terminal illness. Although it might make you cry, when you hear it I hope it makes you think of hope. There is so much to offer these days in modern medical miracles… Treatments are progressing and modern medicine is slowly advancing for a cure. Keep believing...
I planted daffodil bulbs yesterday (cancer flower) and some iris bulbs and different kinds of tulips. Going to go make some pink chemo hats! Say a prayer for those going through this or who've been through it. Mary Jane and Sindia I'm thinking of you!:) hugs

My mom was a 20 year survivor before it came back a second time.

Did you girls get pink hair for the cause?

Amen. It's hard to find a woman untouched by this disease these days...

I love that Tim McGraw song. Too bad we don't appreciate things in life soon enough.
